Phishing Scam Using Name of Credit Union Card Services

Credit Unions are advised of a telephone scam that is targeting credit union members that is currently in circulation. The caller states they are calling from"Credit Union Card Services" and proceeds to ask questions about your credit union account.

First of all there is no "Credit Union Services" and secondly a financial institution does not call their clients asking for, or asking to verify, personal or banking information.

The best advise is for you to hang up. If the caller says they are calling from your financial institution, call the Institution from a number found in the phone book or known to you and verify that they have called.
